The heart of Emmanuel is to be a true reflection of Jesus in the community.

The heart of Emmanuel is to be a true reflection of Jesus in the community around us and to those more distant communities. We are keen to be involved in local community events and do what we can to meet community needs.

To this end we are involved in assisting with the Cliffe Woods fete each year. We collect warm clothing and money for an orphanage in Ukraine. We celebrate lent by making 40 acts of generosity to bless people in the community around us. This is in addition to the regular work which includes opening our doors to the PCC, helping to run the Slimming World group, collecting for food bank, running a youth drop in centre, and King Squad group in the village school.

We are merely the conduit of Gods love into the community.

Community is a window through which people everywhere see Jesus

Building and nurturing community within our walls and in the area around us is integral to the work God has given us as a church.
